Exploring Different Settings
General Settings
Site Title: Enter the title of your website.
Tagline: Add a brief description or slogan for your site.
Site URL and WordPress Address (URL): These are typically set to your local server address (e.g., http://example.com/wordpress). Avoid changing these unless necessary.
Timezone and Date/Time formats: Adjust according to your preferences.
Reading Settings
Home Page Displays: Choose whether your homepage displays your latest blog posts or a static page.
Blog pages show at most: Set the number of blog posts displayed on each page.
Discussion Settings
Control settings related to comments on your site, including options for moderation, comment notifications, etc.
Permalink Settings
Choose the structure for your URLs (e.g., Plain, Day and name, Post name, etc.). It's recommended to choose a more SEO-friendly structure for better readability and search engine optimization.
Other Settings
Depending on the installed plugins and themes, you might have additional settings available in the Settings section
Making Changes
Modify the settings as required by entering new values or selecting options in each setting section.
After making changes, scroll to the bottom of the page and click the "Save Changes" button to apply the modifications.
